The past two days have been a lot of fun! Monday I went to the city with my new German friends to meet up with another friend who is living downtown. First we walked around a bit then found a food court like place to eat lunch. I have still yet to get used to Australian prices considering my mind was blown to pay 9 dollars for just a sandwich and a bottle of water, no sides or nothing! Then we went to a very large shopping mall and I bought some Australian jeans considering my luggage was no where to be seen or found and I couldn't wear the same clothes any longer! After that we went and watched The Heat which was hilarious and I strongly recommend seeing it, just not in Aussie land because it will cost you 19 dollars (holy moly)!
Tuesday was the begginnig of orientation week for international students so we had to sit through some long boring lectures, and after waking up the past 2 days at 445 am because of jet lag they were very rough! But tuesday night was extremely fun as I experienced going out down under for the first time! We went out to a bar with a nice beer garden that is apparently the place to go on Tuesdays during the school year. After staying out until 3 am I was finally able to sleep until 8 so that felt amazing. It's crazy what jet lag will do to ya.

Best part of my day= MY LUGGAGE IS HERE!

-Are you pissing on me?/ He was pissing on me = He was pulling my leg.

Imagine hearing this said casually and your mind being blown..i thought that the poor girl got peed on hahah
